What were they thinking? When Doyusha reissued the Midori windup Girara kit, they came up with the silliest name, "The Ultra Queen." I guess it sounded cool? "The Ultra King" in this series was a generic monster Midori had around for years. It looks like a Tyrannosaurus with an antennae growing out of the middle of its head.This model kit was hard to get for a while, since it was in Yuji Nishimura's book. But now they are surfacing for reasonable prices. The artist did a good job of layering the painting of Girara over a photo of the power plant he is attacking.
